How to create an envelope using add-on in Google Docs?
First, install the add-on to make a Google Docs Envelope Template.
You can install the “set A* page size” add-on for the page setup settings that you need for creating or printing the Google Docs envelopes. The steps below will help you learn how to install page setup settings from add-on in Google Docs.
Printing envelopes or creating the envelope template involves choosing the right page size. Here, you will learn how to install page setup from an add-on in Google Docs.
1. Navigate Google Docs-> Go to add-ons -> get add-ons.

2. Search “set A* page size”(It helps you to change the paper size). Then install, followed by clicking continue.

3. Create a new document you want to use as the envelope. Return to the Add-ons menu, then choose set A* page size. Scrolling down shows you a full list of all supported paper sizes.



4. Select any one of the sizes to transform the document immediately. You should know your envelope size in millimeters so that you can match it.

5. Now, you are ready to edit your document to include addresses and names. You can make the font any color and size you wish. If you need to change the margin size, go to file -> page setup. Set the margin to 0 so you can fine-tune exactly where the address should sit.


Creating envelope in Google Docs from the Google Chrome web app
With Google Docs, you can choose any 11 preset page sizes. When you can’t specify custom page sizes, use the Chrome web app, which will overcome this limitation.
To install Chrome web apps, you have to use a Chrome browser and then install the app by accepting the app’s permission. After installation, launch your app, name your document, specify the page size and margins, and then select Create Your Envelope. To open your document in Google Docs, select the generated link “Create your envelope.”
