- Open your Google Docs document where you wish to insert the squared number.
- Click on the View menu –> Select the Show equation toolbar option. Once you select this option, you will see a tick icon before it.

3. You can see the New Equation bar on the top left. Click on the New Equation button.

Once you click on the New Equation option, you will see the equation box added to your Google Docs document with the cursor blinking inside.

4. Type the number and then the caret-type symbol (⌃) from your keyboard. After entering the caret-type symbol (⌃), the cursor will move to the top right of the number, as shown below.

5. Then type number 2, and you are done. Now that you can able to put a squared number in Google Docs.
