- The next step is, just need to move the mouse cursor on the grid line of the table row or the column.
- Now, the moment you notice that your mouse cursor looks like a two-sided arrow, as shown below, you need to click on the row or column and drag it to reach your preferred size.

Well, let’s discuss How to style a cell in a table on Google Docs. The style might be border color, background color, Border dash, Border Width, etc. Follow the below steps to apply the style to a cell in a table on Google Docs.
- Open your Google Doc and locate the table where you want to style the cell.
- Select the specific cells where you want to apply the styles.> Click on the appropriate style buttons from the toolbar, such as the Background color, Border color, Border Width, Border Dash, etc., as highlighted below.

- Border Color
If you want to change the Border Color of the selected cells, click on the Border Color dropdown and select the appropriate color, as highlighted below.
I have selected green here; you can see below that the green color border has successfully applied to the cell border.

- Border Width
Now, if you want to change the Border width of the selected cells, you can select all the cells, Click on the Border Width dropdown, and select the appropriate width you are looking for, as shown below.
I have selected the border width as 3pt, and you can see below the changes have been applied to the selected successfully.

- Border Dash
If you want to change the Border dash of the selected cells, you can select all the cells, Click on the Border dash dropdown, and select the appropriate dash style, as shown below.
The selected Border dash style has been applied successfully.
