Follow the below steps for putting an arrow over a letter in Google Docs
- Open your Google Docs document where you wish to add the letter. Or, to create a new Google Docs document, navigate to https://docs.google.com/ and click on the Blank (+) option.
- The first step you need to do is, enable the show equation toolbar option. To enable the option, click on the View menu –> click on the Show Equation toolbar option.

Once you enable it, you can see a tick mark on the left side of the Show Equation toolbar.

Now, you can see the New Equation option in the top left corner.

3. Click on the New Equation option. You can see the equation box is added to your Google Docs document. Type back slash and vec.

Then, press the spacebar immediately. Now, you can see the spacebar on the top, as shown below.

Now, type the letter as per your requirement, and you are done.
