Follow the quick instructions below!!!
- Navigate to https://docs.google.com/ and click on the Blank option to create an empty document, or you can open an existing Google Doc.
- Click on the Insert menu –> select Table –> Select the 2 X 1 table.
3. Now, a 2X1 table will be added like below.
4. Now, to add a table inside the cell, click on the Insert menu –> Select table –> select the 4 X 4 table, or based on your need, you can select the number of rows and columns.
5. Now, the whole structure looks like below.
6. Now, Click on the other second cell of the first table (2 X 1 table that we have added in Step 2). Then click on the Insert menu –> Select table –> select the 4 X 4 table, or based on your need, you can select the number of rows and columns similarly to what we have done in Step 4.
7. Now, the complete structure of the table will look like below.
8. Now, it is time to remove the first table borders. Click on the first cell or second cell of the first table (2 X 1 table) or the outer table.
9. Click on Format Menu –> Select Table –> Click on the Table Properties option.
Or, For the same option, Right Click –> Click on the Table Properties option
10. On the Table properties window. Change the Table border to “0 pt” and click the “OK” button.
11. Now, you can see the screenshot below. We can put two tables side by side in Google Docs successfully.
