Google Docs provides you with an inbuild widow orphan feature, and you will not have any direct control over the widow orphan feature. So, as of now, you don’t have any way to turn off the widow orphan control.
However, for a similar feature, you can try the approach below to turn it on or off.
- Open your Google Docs document.
- To turn off the feature, select the paragraph and click on the Format menu—> Choose Line & paragraph spacing—> uncheck the Prevent single lines option to enable the feature.
Note: By default, this feature is enabled with Google Docs.

3. You can check or select it again to disable or turn off the Prevent single lines feature.
