How to turn off widow orphan control in Google Docs
Well, Google docs provide you with an inbuild widow orphan feature and you will not get any direct control for the widow orphan feature. So as of now, you don’t have any way to turn off the widow orphan control.
But for a similar type of feature, you can try out the below approach to turn on or off the feature.
- Open your Google Docs document.
- To turnoff the feature, select the paragraph and click on Format menu –> Choose Line & paragraph spacing –> uncheck the Prevent single lines option to enable the feature.
Note: By default, this feature is enabled with Google Docs.

3. You can check or select the Prevent single lines feature again to disable or turn off the feature.
