Does Google Docs have an itinerary template?
You might have this question “Does Google Docs have an itinerary template?”.
Unfortunately, the answer is ‘No’. Google Docs does not provide you with an inbuilt itinerary template. But you can able to create an itinerary template from scratch using Google Docs tools or add-ons. Read further to learn how to create an itinerary template in Google Docs using the above-mentioned methods.
How to create a Google Docs Itinerary template using add-ons?
To create a Google Docs Itinerary template using add-ons, follow the below steps.
Step 1: Navigate to the menu bar and click ‘Add-ons’> ‘Template for Docs’ > ‘Browse Templates’.
Step 2: Now the “Browse templates” window is opened.
Step 3: On the left side, you can find ‘Free’, click on that, and select premium. You can find most of the templates.
Step 4: Search for ‘Itinerary’ and you can find 60 itinerary templates. You can access this by paying $1.99.
Step 5: You can simply download the itinerary template from your desired third-party source and edit it in Google Docs to get an Itinerary template.
How to create a Google Docs itinerary template from scratch?
To create an itinerary template in Google Docs, follow the below steps.
Step 1: Open Google and sign in to your Google account. On the right corner, you will find Google apps. Click ‘Docs’ and Google Docs is opened now.
Step 2: Since there is no built-in itinerary template, you have to create your own template by clicking ‘Blank’ new document.
Note: Instead, you can also upload itinerary templates from the third-party source by clicking “open with Google Docs”
Step 3: You can then insert and customize some elements like font, color, and style to fit the itinerary template.
Itinerary Wedding Template Google Docs
Just follow the below steps to create an itinerary wedding template in Google Docs.
Step 1: Add an attractive image for the background in the itinerary wedding template. For that, you can find a background image on the internet and then upload it in the itinerary wedding template in Google Docs. To do so, navigate to the menu bar and select ‘Insert’ > ‘Drawing’ > ‘+ New’. From the drawing tool that opens, upload your background image using the ‘Image’ icon and click “Save & Close”. Adjust your background image to fit the page of the certificate template.
Step 2: Go to ‘Insert’ in the menu bar and click ‘Drawing’ > ‘New’. Click on the ‘Text box’ icon at the top of the drawing tool to create a new text. Type couple name as a title in the ‘Text box’. The font size should be ‘52’ and the font style is “Alex Brush”. Feel free to try different font styles.
Step 3: Insert different images to get a good look. Add a ‘Text box’ by following the above-mentioned steps and type “ Wedding Itinerary”. You can use the font style ‘Alex Brush’ and the font size is ‘44’ and below that give two line spaces and add time with the event name

You can also get ‘Add-ons’ from Google Docs. To do so, navigate to the menu bar and select ‘Add-ons’ > ‘Get add-ons’. Search for ‘Template gallery for Docs’ in the search bar. Click that you will find the ‘Install’ button on the right side. Once you installed the app ‘Template gallery for Docs’ refresh your document and go to ‘Add-ons’> ‘Template gallery for Docs’> ‘Browse Templates. Now you will find the ‘Vertex42 Template Gallery’ window.
In the categories you will find the ‘Planners and Schedules (14)’ on the right side click that and check for the travel itinerary.
Travel Itinerary Template Google Docs
Step 1: Type your heading and make sure it is aligned in the center or simply press ‘Ctrl+Shift+E’. In the menu bar, you will find the ‘styles’. Click ‘Normal Text’ > ‘Title’> ‘Apply Title’. Use ‘Lobster’ font and size should be 22.
Note: If the menu bar is hidden, click ‘Ctrl+Shift+F’ to show the menus in the menu bar.
Step 2: Give one line space and add organizer information with the purpose of the trip. It should be in ‘Normal text’. The font is ‘Arial and the font size is ‘12’.
Step 3: Your mode of transportation show be elaborate briefly in this step. You can put this by using a table. To navigate this, go to menu bar> ’Insert’ > ‘Table’ >. You can include arrival time, departure time, date of travel, and so on. If you want to add more rows and columns, right-click in the table. You will find the option ‘Insert row below’ and ‘Insert column left’, ‘Insert column right’, and so on.
Step 4: Provide accommodation details such as an address, contact number of that hotel, and location. You can add this data line by line. You can also use the bulleted list from the menu bar or simply press ‘Ctrl+Shift+8’
Step 5: Give two lines of space and list every activity you are going to do during the trip. Set a time duration to stay at a particular place or particular activity you planned. Build a list of places you want to visit. You can use a table or bulleted list to represent the activities. Use center align format (Ctrl+Shift+E) in table.
Step 6: If you want to add any other important points apart from these, keep them in Notes/Activities to remember. Use bulleted list here.

Road Trip Itinerary Template
Step 1: Type your heading of the road trip itinerary template. Use styles ‘Title’ and font should be ‘caveat’. Keep your font size as 22, centered, and bold. You can increase font size by simply press ‘Ctrl+Shift+[Dot].’ and decrease font size ‘Ctrl+Shift+[comma],’
Step 2: Below the heading, use two line spaces and mention your road trip start date and end date in the format of Month Date, Year. For example December 20, 2021. Keep it as center-aligned and 11-Point Arial.
Step 3: Use Left align ‘Ctrl+Shift+L’ and mention the itineraries. You can use table format to look attractive. Here add Date, time, activity, type, and cost. Mention whether it is accommodation, entertainment or just sightseeing under the ‘type’. The table should be center-aligned. Use the same date format.
Step 4: Add the list of companions joining in your road trip. It should include name, age, gender, and contact number. Use table ‘n Rows x 4 Columns’ and center-aligned.
Step 5: Then you feel anything else important keep it under the ‘Notes’.
Step 6: At the end, mention the emergency contact person’s name and his/her contact number.
