Approach – 1: Using Flip Option
Now let’s discuss the quick steps to mirror or flip text in Google docs using the Flip option.
- Navigate to https://docs.google.com/ and click on the + (Blank) option to create an empty document or you can also open your existing Google docs document.
- Select or highlight the piece of text that you want to mirror or flip. Then Right-click and select the Cut option or you can also press the Ctrl + X key from your keyboard.

3. Click on the Insert menu –> select Drawing –> Click on the + New button.

4. On the Drawing window, Right-click –> select the Paste option or you can also use the Ctrl + V shortcut to paste the text that you have copied before. If you are using Mac, you can click on the Command + V shortcut to paste the text.

5. To flip the text on the Drawing window, click on the Actions menu –> Select the Rotate option –> Click on Flip horizontally or Flip vertically based on your requirements.

6. Finally, click on the Save and Close button to save the changes.

Approach – 2: Using WordArt Option
You can also use the WordArt option to mirror the text in Google Docs quickly. Follow the below steps to flip the image text.
- Navigate to https://docs.google.com/ and click on the + (Blank) option to create an empty document or you can also open your existing Google docs document.
- Click on the Insert menu –> select Drawing –> Click on the + New button.

3. On the Drawing window, Click on the Actions dropdown –> select WordArt option.

4. Type the text in that Word art box that you want to flip.

5. Now, to vertically flip your text, hold the anchor point and rotate it by 180 degrees.

6. Finally, click on the Save and Close button to save the changes in your Google Docs document.
