How to make lined paper in Google Docs
Follow the below steps to create the lined paper in Google Docs
- Navigate to https://docs.google.com/, Click on the Blank (+) button to create a new empty Google Docs document.

2. Click on the Insert menu –> select the Table option –> then choose the 1 X 1 table.

3. Click on the drop-down that you can see if you click on the top right corner inside the table –> Select the “Select Outer border” option as highlighted below.

4. Choose the dark gray 2 option from the Border color dropdown.

5. Select the left and right borders. You can click on the left border, press the Ctrl key, and click on the right border to select both borders at once. Then, click on the Border width option and choose the 0pt option to remove both borders.

6. Right-click inside the table and then choose the + Insert row below option.

7. Repeat the above step (step – 6) until you cover the complete page or as per your requirement. Congratulations! You have successfully made lined paper in Google Docs.
